The author of Grandma’s story “Ghana is 50”; Abyna-Ansaa Adjei has outdoored a new book titled: Grandma Goody’s story: From Gold coast to Ghana in Accra today.
This new book, the author said was written to help the younger generation in Ghana to appreciate Ghana’s rich history and to work towards improving, maintaining and shaping our political culture.
The new book is about the various phases of Ghana political history and the struggle for independence. She said the book is written in a way that Children of all ages can comprehend in order to have enough exposure to Ghana’s rich history.
The Chairman of Enterprise Group, Honorable Treror Trefgarne, who was the guest of honor for the occasion has congratulated the author for contributing to Ghana’s work towards impacting the young and adult through her books.
When asked whether there will be no controversy regarding the history captured in her book. She retorted “if people accept that a lot of people contributed to Ghana’s independence, there wouldn’t be any controversy”
About 700 copies of her new book will be distributed freely to students of the Flagstaff House Basic School kids, her host.
