Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has been voted the Most Influential Young Ghanaian in Sports for the year 2017.
A poll run by international reputed rating establishment, Avance Media in partnership with Goal.com, saw the striker come out tops among his other competitors.
The 32-year-old was closely followed by deputy Black Stars skipper Andre Ayew in second place.
Christian Atsu, Kwadwo Asamoah and Akwasi Frimpong (Athlete) completed the list of top five Most Influential Young Ghanaians in Sports for the year under review.
Gyan was involved in many off-the-field commitments last year, with the Kayserispor striker opening a number of businesses, including acquiring a license to operate an airline.
His deeds on the pitch, though, were not as encouraging with injuries hampering his stay in Turkey.
