Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have confirmed the departure of striker Saddick Adams, who has completed a move to regional rivals Ashanti Gold.
The former national U-17 star was rendered surplus to requirement by the Porcupine Warriors midway through the season.
Adams was subsequently listed among players that Kotoko was looking to sell, with five others also seeing their respective contracts terminated outright.
The 27-year-old has now officially completed a move to Ghana Premier League highfliers Ashanti Gold for an undisclosed fee.
A club statement from Kotoko confirming that move read: “We wish to formally announce the transfer of Saddick Adams to Ashgold SC
“We’re grateful for his services and wish him the very best in his new club.”
Saddick Adams joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2016, but saw his time at the Kumasi-based club blighted by niggling injuries.
The former Atletico Madrid forward’s most memorable moment for Kotoko was when he scored a sensational hat-trick as the Porcupine Warriors defeated bitter rivals Hearts of Oak 3-0 to lift the FA Cup last season.
