The Volta Regional New Patriotic Party Deputy Women Organiser, Olivia Yawa Aglako, has advised Muslim women in the country to invest in the education of the children and desist from buying expensive clothes.
She gave the advice during the Eid-Mubarak celebration in Nkwanta.
She also expressed shock at the pregnancy cases at the just ended BECE examination and advised parents to pay particular attention to their Children adding they must be ready to provide the basic needs of their children.
The Municipal Chief Executive, Elder John Thasun, also called for unity among the people of Nkwanta for development.
The MP for Nkwanta South, Dr. Geoffrey Mini, seized the opportunity to commend Muslims for a successful fasting period and urged the youth to stay away from immoral acts that would ruin the peace of the country.
